Dear Player
Welcome to all our new members at
Charters Junior Tennis Club.
The club is growing daily and with the
warmer weather
round
the corner we hope to
see more of you at the
coaching
sessions and
club nights. Remember, you can join in any
time
throughout a course –
just telephone
us or speak to Simon.
There have also been some exciting new
ventures
opening
up this term and some
new faces
joining our team.
Phil
Vincent
First of all we would like to welcome Phil
Vincent
who
is
at present coaching at our
t-time
clubs. Phil has been
working as a
tennis
manager
for a
Mark Warner resort
in
Greece and
comes to
us
with
lots of
ideas
and
experience
in
mini
tennis.
Broomhall Park
The programme is expanding so much
that
we now
have
the
use of the Broomhall Park
tennis
courts
which many
of you may
know as the
recreation park.
We have
refurbished the courts
and
are
now
running
a membership
system and
a pay
as you
play system which is open to
anyone who
wishes to use the
courts.
We will be
running free
sessions to all
members–
juniors and
adults, and
there
will be drills sessions and
coaching
sessions
available for
all ages
and
abilities.

New Web Site
We now have a new web site www.charterstennis.co.uk
with
all the details of our new venue – Broomhall
Park.
Please take a look
and if you have any
suggestions or
queries
about the site
please
feel to contact us.
Easter Coaching
You might by now of had the Easter Holiday
programme
which will be held this year at
Broomhall Park.
If you haven’t had one, pick one up
at the club
house,
download one from the web site or
telephone us and
we will send you one. We have
advertised only mornings
but if there are enough
players
wanting to play,
we may put onextra
sessions in
the afternoons.
Emails
We are now nearly on the way to emailing
all our
correspondence to our players but
we still need a lot
more email addresses
in order to
hopefully get the
information to
you all. It would really help if you
could
send us an email from the email
address you would
like us to contact you with -
this will save me from
having to type them all in as well!
